This thread about the mintage amounts for Booker T. Washington and others to follow may sound boring and uninteresting. But why should it? This is not only a piece of serious history but has collecting value.
So many of our children are not collecting anything anymore. But why? Is there so much of an involvement in video games etc, that the art of collecting things that can have future value gone by the wayside?
We should care and bring the value of collecting pieces of our history to our children.
Anyway, the mintage for Booker T. Washington coins for 1948 in Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco was the same: 8,005.
